Development of a new generation of hydrogels based on natural polymers combined with catechol groups, in particular hyaluronic acid and chitosan that have demonstrated adequate properties such as biocompatibilityfor several biomedical applications; Characterization of the hydrogel by chemical and physical properties: FTIR, NMR, SEM coupled with EDS, rheology, swelling and compressive experiments.

Synthesis of compounds with potential anti-tumor and / or anti-angiogenic activities (eg thienopyridines,thienopyrimidines, thienopyrazines, thienoquinolines, thienoquinoxalines ...); Synthesis of compounds with potential Alzheimer's and / or Parkinson's activity (eg Isoquinolinones,Azepinones, Dibenzodiazepines, Acridines ...); Mechanistic studies for the formation of different compounds using NHO; Characterization of the compounds by NMR spectrometry, including heteronuclear homo and bidimensional correlations. Analysis of purity of the compounds by HPLC;
